Yeah, every site on the internet has a little "about me" page... here's mine.

Let me begin by describing myself a bit. At the time of this writing, I'm 21 years old, I attend the University of Northern Iowa (a Junior) in Cedar Falls Iowa. I got my pilots liscense April 4, 2001. Living in the midwest can present weird probems when one is crazy, like me, and trains to climb fourteen-thousand-foot mountains.

I absolutely love mountains. Just ask any of my friends. I constantly talk about them. It gets annoying sometimes. I've summitted both Mt. Shuksan (9,131') and Mt. Rainier (14,411') in Washington State. (The picture to the right is me on top of Mt. Rainier!) I'm planning on a climb of El Pico De Orizaba, Mexico (~18,800) in a few years. I have a whole list of mountains I want to climb. I'd like to climb the seven summits (tallest mountain in every continent) and Mt. Everest (which, is one of the 7).

A little more about me... I'm currently about 6'2", brown hair and eyes, wear glasses and have had a concussion from running into a tree. Literally. Don't ask -- it's a long story. I have a job at ASI Computer Systems as a web application developer. I also work at the Grout Museum in Waterloo, Iowa as an assistant planetarium operator, and in order to make my life totally insane, I picked up a 3rd job this summer semester as a astronomy lab assistant at UNI. Aviation is my newest addiction, and I have determined that I want to be an airline pilot for my career.

I have other activities as well. I like hanging out with my friends, watch TV and be outdoors. My favorite commedy movie is Robin Hood: Men in Tights ("King illegal forest, to pig wild, kill it a in as the!" - I can quote almost any line from that movie). I also like to watch auto racing, especially, NASCAR. My favorite driver is Jeff Gordon. Don't hassle me about that, he's a good driver.

That's enough about little ole me. I'm sure you'll find out more about me on here. Probably too much, and you'll never come back. Right. I hope not. Anyway, enjoy the rest of my site. :)
